A Gr 8 Birthday. . .

It may sound funny to so many of you out there, but I have never sent a text message.  This new form of communication has slowly seeped into the inner portion of my language center and I have made some attempt to utilize this "new" skill.  (See the blog title)  Now, on to more important things. . .  today we celebrated my daughter's 8th birthday... as usual, the girls were prepared to party... and party they did!

What the Future Holds ? ? ?

I was shown this video clip today by my wife's uncle and it both amazed and shocked the heck out of me all in the same viewing...  If this is for real, I'm amazed, if it's not... I'm still amazed.  I'll let you the viewer decide. Enjoy!

Happy 4th of July. . .

Although it is July 3rd, we celebrated our nation's independence with the company of dear friends... from the looks of it, the kids had a good time too...  Happy 4th... God Bless America!

Pic taken with my wife's point and shoot... not too bad considering they were swinging!

A CAMP THAT CARES. . .

Every once in a while we get to do something extraordinary.  Something that makes a difference in the lives of others.  Something that gives our lives purpose.  The video posted below documents just that.  My wife and I are actively involved in Camp Care.  Camp Care is a non-profit organization that provides free horseback riding lessons, exercise classes, and physical therapy to children with special needs.  We have been working with Camp Care for the past ten years and it gets better every year. It has been a blessing to watch the kids grow up into young adults and welcome new kids into camp every year.  For my family, camp has given us "purpose".  It has allowed us to grow in faith, hope, and love and continues to drive us to provide more for those in need.  I'd like to invite you to view the video below.  I had the opportunity to shoot my wife working with some riders last Saturday and it was an incredible day!
